Well,I'd already finished it!
I want to say this is a great story,
th3 story is really impressive,and I just cannot stop myself reading it.
But, actually,i cannot really catch the the meaning of the end.
Why is the world cintrolled?
Who control the world?
The father can choose another way to protect the girl,
how comes he just let everything be out of controlled,and goes away but do nothing?
i think he is a little wimpy.

Haha I truly agree with you as the end is indeed a bit confusing, but as the first story that I ever finish, I somehow have no mean to edit it yet after years have passed xPP But I will try to explain it to you :)))
Why we say the world is controlled? Well, first let's imagine the world is only a script, all the people who live in the world are only characters in the script, they think they control their own lives but actually they are just playing "the roles" of the characters in the script. However they will never notice it.
Who controls the "world"? Well we can just call it the author, or Destiny, or God, or anything you like as long as you get the meaning: it designs all the characters' acts.
One day, there is a "character" somehow notices that everthing in the world is just part of a play, this character is Worrllern. Since Worrllern notice the truth he also suddenly knows about his future (his role in the play later on,) which is to kill his wife and daughter. He notice about the truth right after he kills his wife, therefore he didn't kill Essimmia after that.
The reason that Worrllern chooses to protect Essimmia in a further place, is because (we can imagine) if a character in the script plays the role wrong, if it is only one single mistake, then other characters may still have chance to help to fix the mistake; but if a character continuously plays his part wrong, the script will be destroyed (turning to something else/the author stops writing?) which lead to destruction of the play and all the characters within.
That's why Worrllern has to run away from Essimmia in order to protect her and all the other "characters" in the "play," because in the original script Worrllern should no more be being with Essimmia (because she dies.) Avoiding Essimmia equals to avoiding more mistakes in the play.
Worrllern is only a small character in the script, who is so pitiful to fight with Destiny all alone. I believe running away from Essimmia is the best choice he can make.
