Race is a big deal. Whenever people are separated into group, one of the communities would always be race. Race may not seem to be important, but it does make a huge difference in the world. Historically, different races of people always hated, fought, and killed each other. In the past, Americans enslaved Africans and Hitler slaughtered many Jews; all because they thought themselves’ race was superior and better than the others, and they thought they had the right to control the vulnerable races. Racism was and still is everywhere. Some of us would not objectively think of someone without judging his/her race, even though all of us agree on the fact that race does not decide who you are. It seems like an instinct that we would relate race to personality when we surely know it is not the case. We should try to avoid prejudice and stop judging a book by its cover, because race matter.
